change a:link text to white in top bar on mobile

I was so proud of myself that I figured out how to keep the a:link text in the top bar white widget on mobile, but then it changed the menu text to white as well on the desktop!
This is what I used, (it’s now deprecated)
.topbar-widget .h2 a, a:link, a:hover{
color: white;
}
Do I need to be more specific?
