WP Google Form List Not Working

Hi there,
I’m building my first WP site and using the Ascend theme. I’m building in a contact form using a Google Form and the Google Form plugin as well as some Google Apps script in the background for task automation. Though the CSS formatting is proving a little tricky the form is working other than the (only) drop down list field. The list doesn’t open when you click it and appears to crash the page. Is this something you might be able to help with of do I need to try the WP support community? Any tips on Google Form CSS in WP would be great too if you have any but resolving the drop down issue is the priority.
