Kadence slider as Home Slider

Hi,
I am trying to add Kadence slider as Home slider, but when I choose the option it says No items of this type were found.
Its the first time I am trying to create kadence slider so it might be a typical rookie mistake 🙂 but I couldn’t find an answer from the support forum.
Also, while Im here, have I somehow used some kind of padding on the sides of the page? I would like it all full width and Im not sure how to do that.
