Remove Category Selection from Shop Page

Hello,
I have a couple of categories that I do not want to show on the Shop page. They are Gift Certificate and Clearance.

We only want them to be accessed via the Menu as they are exceptional type products and we don’t want them mixed in with our Core categories.
Is there a way to exclude them so they don’t display on the Shop page?
