Accordion will not start closed.

Hi There, I am building a page using page builder and the Ascend premium theme.
I am using the accordion shortcode within a custom text widget to display an accordion on page.
I can not get the accordion to start in the closed position.
I have tried;
[accordion][pane title=”title” start=closed] and
[accordion][pane title=”title” start=”closed”]
But still the accordians start opened.
Do you have any suggestions?
