Images not cropping post flexslider

HI Guys,
got a bit of a problem, only the first image in post sliders hard crops when this option is selected.
here is an example: *Login to see link
we are using a child theme, I should also say ive added support for the slider and ‘standard post options’ to a custom post type. However, it does not seem to make any difference- on a standard post crop is not working either. for example: *Login to see link
