Virtue theme displays products with no stock on my WooCommerce site

I have a WooCommerce website with Square inventory integration. I’ve been talking with their support about items that show 0 stock in the back-end but they display on the actual website. For instance there will be a shirt with medium size with 0 inventory and small size with 2 inventory. When I go to the product page I can see both sizes in the dropdown. But if I select the one with 0 inventory and try to add it to the cart it says there isn’t enough stock. I’ve enabled “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” but they still display.
WooCommerce support suggested I test another theme. I enabled the theme Storefront and resync the Square inventory. It no longer displayed the sizes that aren’t in stock.
Is there something I need to do in Virtue to make items with no inventory be hidden?
