Using the sitewide footer CTA button with Thrive leads lightbox

I would love to have a thrive lightbox open when I click on the sitewide footer CTA button. Is there any way I can link the button to the lightbox shortcode ([thrive_2step id=’484′]Trigger goes here[/thrive_2step]) via CSS (or whatever!)?
