Beaver Builder

Hi guys
I have installed beaver builder lite but am unable to use it to edit any pages whether created by beaver builder or via virtue theme. When I click Beaver builder the page content just doesnt load.
The URL of the page is followed by ‘fl_builder’ but the screen is blank.
I’m a novice user so need a plain english explanation please.
