Images not showing in Media Library

Hi Guys, I have been having trouble for weeks on getting new images in the library to show. I have images from last month that show perfectly fine but if I add anything new, only gray squares show. I have updated the theme. I have deactivated and reactivated pluggins. No luck in fixing the problem.
Please advise. Thank you
