How to change the photo in the call to action?

Hi,
I have removed the picture of the trees in the call to action of the Ascend premium demo (*Login to see link but I am now unable to replicate the way it was set up. I am trying via Home/ Ascend: call to action Edit/ Design/ Background Image upload/ Centred with original size. But no picture is showing? I tried other settings but it was not replicating the way it is on the demo?
I want to set it up on http://www.therainbirdphotography.com
