Upgrade to premium cannot see all features/pre-built layouts/need help !

Hi, I’m new to blogging and all this technical stuff.
I’ve read the download instructions but not sure what I’ve done is correct (MacBook using Safari)?
1)I’ve upgraded to premium theme http://www.adventuretravelcoach.com and download/import all the downloads but cannot see all features/pre-built layouts.
2) I want to remove the Placeholder picture on Blog-page but can’t?
3) when I went to a page or post and chose to edit, it immediately goes over to the Coded page? Then I cannot change anything?
PLEASE HELP!
