Revolution Slider – picture Size

I have got a problem with the picture size for the Revolution slider.
I worked on my pictures so they have a size of 1040 x 400 px but they still get cut in the revolution slider and the full picture is not shown. What can I do – just try antoher size? (The pictures get cut off in the hight.)
I’m using the following settings at the moment:
Slider Layout: Auto responsive
Unlimited Hight: off
Force Full width: on
Grid settings: Width: 1040 Hight: 400
