SSL and Page URL

Hi Ben,
Hope all is well.
I am using Virtue Premium and I have a couple of questions:
1) I followed the instruction at:
Adding SSL to WordPress
But I can only see the lock is green but not the “https”. Please see the attached screenshot.

Do you know why the “https” portion is not green?
2) In WordPress admin under settings / Permalinks, I selected “custom structure” instead of “Post name”, because I don’t want to have the page name to appear in the URL and instead something that does not hint at the page name when my site is visited. It was my understanding that it would do the job but it didn’t.
