wpml plugin problem in topbar

Hello Kadhence Team! I have a problem in the top bar with the WPML translation plugin. I have translated every page of my website and in the top bar appears correctly the English and French switcher. But in the index (home page) as soon as I try to translate or do any kind of update e.g. SEO title or meta tag, or any simple wording update in the page body example if I have a typo or want to change a word, as soon as I do that and hit on “update”, the French switcher in the top bar disappears and therefore the french page is gone. It does not happen in any other page, only when I update the home page. Any idea why this happens? I really appreciate your help on this. Many thanks!
