Any idea why my I can't see my page and post content to edit it ?

I’ve got a weird problem going on. The text and images on my pages & posts are displaying fine.
When I go into WordPress to edit a page or add a new one, whatever I type into the page or post is invisible, and can only be seen when I select/highlight it. This has been going on for a while and it’s driving me crazy.
I’ve got a screen clip of what I mean, but there isn’t anywhere to attach that here.
