Home-Icon-Menu disappears with WooCommerce

Hi there,
I had setup a website quite a while back at *Login to see link
Everything seems to be working fine.
But after installing and activating WooCommerce, the home-icon menu and recent posts disappear.
Well they dont actually disappear but are hidden.
Not exactly sure what is going on. I guess I am probably doing something wrong.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Here is how the website looks with WooCommerce activated.
Virtue Premium Version: 2.6.8
WooCommerce version : Version 2.2.8
