Symbol menu does not shoe all symbols

Hi There,
I just tired and add about 24 symbols (in my case pictures) to the symbol menu. But not all pictures are shown on the start-site. Is there a limit of symbols that can be added? My intention was to show several pictures on the website that lead to a linked page.
If its not possible to add that much, I will have to find another way, maybe with page builder, to do it…
