We have a client who uses Open Sans Condensed as their heading font and Open Sans as their body font. We are redeveloping their site and want to use a Kadence theme (probably Virtue) but want to retain the same fonts in the styling. We can select the Open Sans fonts in the Theme options and they show correctly in there. However, when you go to the site, it does not pick up this font and instead shows a serif font.
We have so far:
1. Checked on other theme families – they pick up the fonts correctly, so it’s not the computer or the browser causing the issue.
2. Checked on different computers with the Kadence themes – same problem occurs.
3. Checked on different Kadence themes (Ascend, Virtue, Pinnacle)- same problem occurs.
4. Disabled all plugins – same problem occurs.
5. Installed the themes on a different website and tried there – same problem occurs.
6. Tried other fonts – they all work perfectly (though we haven’t tried all 600 Google fonts!). It’s just Open Sans/Condensed.
Any ideas?
