Related Content Not Displaying Featured Image

I have some pages with feature images set. I am adding those pages to the related carousel at the bottom of another page. The images are not showing up in that carousel.
I have redirects set for the pages with feature images so that they will go offsite. Is that why the carousel isn’t pulling the featured image?
