Remove “Read more” for blog_posts shortcode

Hi Team,
On this live site I am listing a category of posts with the shortcode:
[blog_posts orderby=date items=0 cat=coaching]
I have set a custom excerpt for each post and in Dashboard > Theme Options > Blog Options, I have “Add “read more” link to custom excerpts?” switched off.
How do I get rid of the “Read more” link that is still appearing?
