Kadence Importer plugin download is not updating to 2.0.4

I’m using premium Virtue theme. When I install theme plugins all install, but the Kadence Importer appears to be version 2.0.4 but after install says it is 2.0.3 and needs to be updated. When I attempt to update, it says it has updated but back on the plugin screen it still shows as 2.0.3 with a notice that it needs to be updated to 2.0.4. I’ve tried removing everything, and starting from scratch, but I continue to get this error.
