How can I *hide* (re-close) the “Filters” link / option – having chose a filter?

Hi there.
This applies to Ascend Premium (fantastic Theme !!!!) – and specifically to the “Filters” option (for Portfolio options/content) – *on MOBILE* in particular.
It works great.
Just one issue. I personally feel that (on mobile) it would work (even) better if the “Filter” heading *hides* (closes) – once you have made a choice/selection from the list (of filters).
Why? Because by default it remains “open” – which means you then have to scroll down (past the list, on mobile) – to see what has been filtered.
Or.. tap the “Filter” header again – but from a U/X point of view that isn’t intuitive / what people would expect to have to do(?).
If you could advise on if there is any scope here to amend this I’d be keen to know.
