Updating Virtue premium 2.68 to 2.71

I am new to Virtue and my website is still in build mode connected to an FTP upload domain vs. my website domain. If I update to the latest version (from 2.68 to 2.71), will I lose all of the custom changes that I have made? Here is my site: *Login to see link Thanks for any help you can give me.
