Virtue: Image and Virtue: Gallery Widgets not Importing Alt Tags

Hello,
I recently discovered that when I put images on pages using Page Builder and the Virtue: Image and Virtue: Gallery widgets, the alt tags I have entered for the images does NOT carry over. That is, when I inspect the HTML in WP-editor and inspect my pages’ elements using Chrome, the alt tags that should be there for the images do not show up. Is there anything I can do to get them there?
And on a slightly related note, is there any way to disable the Virtue: Gallery from opening a link to the image and the lightbox when one clicks on it? I.e., I don’t want any image boxes to open when someone clicks on the slider gallery, I just want them to be able to press the arrows.
I hope what I’m asking is clear enough, but feel free to ask any clarification questions if needed!
