Replacing an old theme with Ascend

Hi,
I just took over a project for a client and they are wanting to overhaul their current website. They are currently using a theme called “News”. I would like to switch them over to Ascend Premium Theme. I will back up the site prior to the change. Do you have any recommendations on plugins that can help with this switch? They have a good bit of content and I’d like to keep things as streamlined as possible. Thank you for your time.
