Hey all. I’ve set up an accordion using Kadence blocks, and my designer has pointed out that he was expecting it to work in the same way as the shortcode accordion, as seen here:

There seems to be a bug with the blocks accordion, where the bottom border vanishes during the opening/closing animation. In addition, when a tab opens, the animation is smooth but then kind of jumps at the end (maybe caused by CSS padding?)

The shortcode accordion has a nice animated title underline on the active tab. Is it possible to recreate this effect in the blocks accordion?

Finally, the +/- icons in the shortcode are from an icon font, whereas in the blocks accordion they are created using some fancy CSS tricks along with transform and scaling. The shortcode icons are much easier to modify using CSS whereas the blocks ones are, quite frankly, a pain in the backside! Is there any way to replace the blocks accordion icons with the shortcode accordion ones?

So you might ask, if I like the way the shortcode accordion works so much, why not just use that? It’s a fair point, and the answer is simply that from a client point of view the shortcode accordion is really not user friendly in terms of modifying content. All they have to do is accidentally delete one of the square brackets and they’ll break the whole thing.
