Hope you can help, we’ve got an odd glitch I’m not too sure how to solve.
When adding a product to cart, the shipping postcode can be added and the update button refreshes correctly to display the relevant shipping option. Great.
HOWEVER, if we proceed to checkout without adding any shipping details in the cart, there’s no update shipping button that refreshes to display the correct shipping option (in the checkout).
This is resulting in customer’s calling my client’s office complaining they can’t checkout. I’m getting no failed orders in the log but it seems like if they try to change the shipping address in the checkout it won’t process the transaction any further.
Ideally I need two things please:
A) not allow customers to proceed to checkout without entering shipping details in the cart (i.e. “Proceed to Checkout” button is opaque/unclickable until shipping has been entered).
B) add an Update Shipping button to the Checkout (I tried to look for this in the Checkout Editor but couldn’t find it sorry).
