Hide Author name in links

Someone posted a link on Social Media to a particular post and the summary revealed the Author name (Admin name). I have since set a nickname but a: I’m not sure of that will do the trick, and b: would rather it didn’t appear at all.
In Theme Options > Blog Settings ‘Show Author output with posts?’ is Off, ‘Blog Post Author Box Default’ Is set to No, Do Not Show
Is there anything else I have missed please?
