Load more font weights

Hi!
How do I get the Kadence theme to load more font weights. I’m using the Montserrat font and I want to use 400 for normal text and 500 for menus. But when I set that up it does not load the 500 font weight. The 400 normal text and 500 menu text looks exactly the same.
