pagination in mobile no longer works after upgrade

pagination not working after upgrade. The pagination links no longer work on mobile. also some categories display differently , for example some images are larger in top level category and sub category on next page images are smaller, but not always the case. also the price slider no longer moves to the bottom in mobile, instead the price slider stays at the top and the filter button moves to the bottom. I have done nothing to the theme, use very few plug ins. I see a LOT of support questions, i hope this is the first and last time I have to ask about the something. Is there a way to test upgrades before implementing them? How often should a theme be upgraded when it seems upgrading might break the site? Was happy with theme until upgrade and then see all the support questions, now I’m scared I got more things coming. http://www.ebtire.com
