woocommerce product image overlay

Dear Kadence team!
Is there a way to arrange (a subtle) overlay color on the woocommerce product images; like #f9f9f9 or so. I would like the image underneath to be visible but with a slight tone on it so it matches the background color #f9f9f9. Now it’s a white box .. better if I can do this then to replace ALL images.
