I am using a plugin Worth the Read which gives me a reading progress bar on my blog posts.

However, when I open a dropdown menu in the header the reading progress bar overlays the menu.
What I understood in the forum is that the menu is part of the header.

So I was thinking along the lines of possibly increasing the z-index of the header or dropdown menu to solve the problem.

Does this sound like a plausible route to take?

What CSS would I need to solve this (being a CSS-noob).
