Secondary menu force new line

Hello
Is it possible using css to force items on a secondary menu to be on a new line? For example I have 8 items in the secondary menu but I need it so that the first 4 are on one line and the second 4 are on the new line. At the moment only 1 item appears on the second line as there’s not enough space for them to all be on a single line. This looks really odd.
I am already using the primary menu otherwise I could have used that to achieve it.
