Positioning of Header Widget Areas

I’m using a header layout with a logo in the center and extras to either side on this site. I have the Header Extras Widget Area right justified and the Header Extra Widgets Area (Second) left justified, but the items in these widgets are still pretty broadly spaced from the logo in the center. While I don’t want them tight to the logo, I’d like to know if there’s a way I can move each a little closer toward the logo.
