Header doesn’t show/hide smoothly on live site

Hi there! Hopefully I can explain this correctly…
I have the header set up to reveal sticky header on scroll up. In the customizer screen, the header disappears/reappears slowly and smoothly, and looks pretty good. But when I’m viewing the live site, it’s not nearly as smooth and looks a little wonky. Here’s a quick video so you can see the difference: *Login to see link
