String translation not applied

Hi,
I am having issues with my string translations with both polylang and loco translate.
I can see the string in both editors and add a translation (French) but when I save the changes the translations are not applied.
The translations stay in the editor but when i switch languages i see the English version and not the french one.
It seems to work on for the widget but not on anything related to kadence or woocommerce.
I am using a child theme.
I tried to deactivate the rest of the plugins and clear my caching plugin but it stays the same.
I have been looking for the last few hours for a way to solve it. Would you have a solution for this ?
