Hi guys!
Just looking at getting the pro version of Kadence – but would like some advice regarding images..
I know that images need to be optimised and cropped for best speed results…
I have looked at WordPress Image Size Guide and they recommend:
Background Images 1920 x 1080
Thumbnail Images 150 x 150
Featured Images (Portrait) 900 x 1200
Featured Images (Landscape) 1200 x 900
I was wondering if it is good practice to upload the right image size with aspect ratio for each of the above?
For example: Featured Image (Landscape) 1200 x 900 4:3 aspect ratio
Obviously this takes time to perform depending how many images you are using on your site…
Another thing I wonder about is if I set my default content max width for a specific site to 1200 ….not really necessary with 1920 x 1080…I can upload a 1600 x 900 instead?
If I replace a Featured Image (Landscape) with an svg – how do I restrain its size the right way?
I can activate the “Use fixed ratio instead of image ratio and that allows me to set 4:3 which is the proposed ratio according to WordPress
I can also add a Max Image width to control the svg…
What is best practice with svg’s?
Would be glad of some help….;)
I was also looking at srcset but do not know how to set that up….any suggestions…

Thanks a lot!
