m4a files – can’t upload

I get a security message saying I’m not allowed to upload m4a files because it’s not permitted. Is this a Kadence issue?
If I upload via FTP, the file doesn’t show in the media library. Tried in Edge and Chrome (latest versions)
m4a should be supported by WP as a default file type.
Any ideas?
