shopkit: show custom checkout fields in backend (view/edit user)

Hello guys
My first run at shopkit, on a B2B store.
Customers must enter their email and fiscal number (european VAT/fiscal number) to register. So far, so good, just created a new field (VAT number), named it and positioned it in top.
However, that field does not show in the view/edit user backend.
Went through the documentation and forum but did not find a solution.
How can I make it show in the backend? And, if not possible, can I use a ACF or Toolset custom fields and use it in the chekout manager?
