Facing issue in installing kadence theme

Hello,
The Kadence Theme has been activated on a new WordPress installation (with multisite enabled).
I am stuck on the “install Kadence starter templates” step: after clicking the button in wordpress admin / appearance / Kadence / starter templates, the spinner starts, but nothing happens.
Does it have anything to do with the plugin being closed on WordPress.org?
Is there a way to get around this? Does it have nothing to do with it?
I would appreciate any help you can provide.
