I’m using Pinnacle Theme

I had descriptions of categories that I was displaying below the products on the category catalogue pages…since upgrading ShopKit these descriptions have disappeared. They can still be seen on the edit screen for that category.

I also tested this on my test website by not upgrading any other plugins or the wordpress version. Simply only upgrading the ShopKit plugin prevented the descriptions from displaying.

UPDATE!!!

I believe I’ve found the trigger of the bug. For the Extra category description to display (now), it requires some content to be placed in the other description box that displays at the top of the page.
