How can i change my website theme to kadence without breaking?

I have a website related to graphics and hardware components and i want to change my website theme into kadence. but whenever i enable kadence theme then my website breaks. I don’t know what to do. Please can anybody tell me how can i change my website theme to kadence without breaking my website? Thanks
