Advanced gallery carousel links

If you add a custom link into the drop down box of a Fluid Carousel in Advanced Gallery, it’s difficult to then delete or highlight that link code if you then need to change it. If you try to highlight the link code (in order to delete it) you can’t drag the cursor to highlight it all as the carousel moves. This means you have to delete it character by character, which for long affiliate links can take ages. Is there another way to delete long link code already in the box?
