I have a client who wants to move away from Joomla. They’re a university with 6+ eating outlets, including a dining hall, Subway and several smaller eateries, and all have different menus and hours. Their current site has a component (maybe it’s a plugin) that manages what we’re trying to replicate in WordPress. I’ve researched Formidable Forms’ Business tier with the DIY Applications capability might work, but wondering if your dynamic data blocks would work also, or some other functionality you offer that I’m not aware of? I’ve never used that functionality so, if it could work, I’d prefer to work with as much baked-in Kadence Blocks Pro features as possible.
What we need to replicate in their new WordPress site:
Pre-loaded locations and hours that display on a couple of web pages and a digital display (basically a customized html page on a TV screen where each are styled differently from each other)
Each location has their own menu(s) that automatically update based on pre-loaded criteria (day, time of day, etc)
The dining hall has a pre-loaded daily menu with a 5-week preloaded rotation cycle (essentially 35 templates, one for each day: ie Cycle One – Sunday, Cycle One, Monday, etc. on through Cycle Five – Saturday)
They also need the capability to update an individual menu item on the fly if something runs out and they replace it with something else.
Thanks for any input and guidance you can provide.
