Problem with Dynamic Content

I use ACF and dynamic content extensively on my site. I’ve noticed that if I duplicate dynamic content and then connect it to a different custom post type for the dynamic data, I get very inconsistent results. It always changes the content to the CPT I’ve linked it to, but then it often reverts to the content in the duplicated block.
I guess my question is whether copying or duplicating blocks that use dynamic content is simply not a reliable approach with Kadence. Thanks.
