Repeater Block Places two Repeater Rows in same row in editor

The Repeater block is placing two rows from the repeater field in a single row in the editor. I need to have just one Repeater row for every row block in the editor. Yet I don’t see a setting to force this, and it’s unclear why the block wouldn’t map a single repeater row to a row block. Any ideas? Thanks.
