I’m using a row layout for which i’ve applied an image to the background, and another image to the background overlay. But I’d like to also add a gradient overlay to the background image so the copy is easier to read against the image.

This styling appears to be either/or in terms of adding an image or a gradient to the background and background overlay. Is there any way around this other than putting a gradient on the image itself and replacing the image? Screenshot attached.
