Custom icons won’t show up

I’m having issues using custom icons aether by uploading svg directly and via Icomoon. When uploading SVG, they show in the editor but not in the front end. When uploading via Icomoon, they don’t even show up in the editor. Deactivated all other plugins except Kadence, didn’t help.
