Known query loop (adv) filter limitation?

Hi,

I’m desperately trying to set up an advanced query lopp, but I’m failing.

The loop is configured to show a custom post type limited to a certain category -> this is important
Within the query loop I want to have two additional filters.

The problem is, that the inner filters do not work when the outer taxonomy limit is in place. They always show the result from the outer filter. As soon as I remove the outer taxonomy limitation the inner filters start working again.

I tried to use a distinct taxonomy on the outer loop and not re-use it in the inner query loop filters, but no change.

Is this expected behavior / known limitation? Or is this an issue?

I would expect the inner filters to add to the outer taxonomy limitation that is defined directly on the query loop.
